Our
Tutoring Program begins with in-home family services and continues
through adult ages with specialties in remedial tutoring, reading, and
language arts support, class-work and homework support, adult groups and
individual tutoring.
Tutoring
is remedial in nature and teachers work with students through their
curriculum. This means that students are not burdened with additional
work but can develop strategies to make the learning experience easier
while using their textbooks and materials. Educational Alternatives
maintains contact with the mainstream classroom teachers in order to
support the student, the teacher, the family and to build success for
the student.
